Austerity Measures to Save EUR 500M This Year, EUR 750M in 2013

Ljubljana, 10 May - The omnibus bill on the balancing of public finances will trim spending by about EUR 500m this year and EUR 750m in 2013, Finance Minister Janez Šušteršič told parliament on Thursday. This is down from EUR 818m and EUR 949m, respectively, that the government originally wanted to save.
