Brussels Forecasts 1.4% Contraction of Slovenian Economy

Brussels, 11 May - The economic forecast published by the European Commission on Friday projects a 1.4% shrinking of Slovenia's GDP for 2012 and a growth of 0.7% for next year. Brussels meanwhile expects Slovenia to curb its budget deficit to 4.3% of GDP this year, and to 3.8% of GDP in 2013.
