Sports Budget Adopted as Govt Clashes with Olympic Committee

Ljubljana, 16 May - The Council for Sports, a government advisory body, adopted this week the annual programme of sports, distributing EUR 13.3m in state funding for sports in 2012. The session was however marked by a clash between the government and the Slovenian Olympic Committee (OKS), as part of which all OKS-nominated members resigned from the Sports Council.
