Public Call for 4G Mobile Services Not Expected before End of 2013

Ljubljana, 9 June - Slovenia will launch public call for bids for LTE-based 4G mobile broadband services no sooner than in late 2013, according to a press release from the Agency for Post and Electronic Communications (APEK). Under an EU decision, members are to open the 800 MHz band for electronic telecommunications, introducing 4G, by 1 January 2013.
