Govt Announces More Flexible But Fairer Job Market

Ljubljana, 22 June - Labour Minister Andrej Vizjak outlined plans for a reform of the labour market on Friday, highlighting the need to reduce the excessive gap between temporary and permanent forms of employment by introducing a standard open-ended employment contract. The government wants more flexibility but also stricter protection of workers' rights.
