General Govt Deficit Down to 5.7% of GDP in Q1

Ljubljana, 29 June - Slovenia's general government deficit stood at EUR 478m or 5.7% of GDP in the first quarter, down from last year's 10.1% in the same period, the Statistics Office said on Friday. The general government consolidated gross debt grew by 0.1 percentage point in the first three months of 2012 to 47.7% of GDP or EUR 17.03bn.
