Belgian KBC Withdraws from Capital Increase in NLB

Ljubljana, 29 June - Belgian financial group KBC, the second largest owner of NLB, told the STA on Friday that it would not participate in the recapitalisation of Slovenia's largest bank. Finance Minister Janez Šušteršič however said that NLB would meet the demands of EBA and Slovenia's central bank to raise its Core Tier 1 ratio to 9% by the end of June.
