Cut in Budget Pensions Cause Uproar, Irregularities Reported
Ljubljana, 2 July - An uproar has arisen among pensioners in Slovenia, as over 26,000 of them received lower pensions on Friday in line with austerity measures reducing the pensions covered in total or in part from the budget. Many irregularities have also been reported, as the cut also hit independence veterans who were supposed to be exempt.
