UN Sec-Gen "Deeply Disappointed" over Veto in Security Council
Ljubljana, 20 July - United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed on Friday "deep disappointment" over Thursday's failure by the Security Council to pass a resolution addressing the Syria crisis. Ban however remains hopeful that the council will act today and extend the 300-strong UN observer mission in Syria which is due to expire today.
