NGOs Initiate Proceedings for Referendum against TEŠ

Ljubljana, 25 July - A group of NGOs and individuals has collected more than 2,500 signatures needed to initiate proceedings for a referendum against an act approving a state-loan guarantee for a new generator at the Šoštanj coal-fired power plant. The coalition of environmental NGOs submitted more than 3,000 signatures at the parliament on Wednesday.
