Slovenia Regrets Annan's Resignation as Envoy to Syria

Ljubljana, 3 August - The Foreign Ministry expressed on Friday regret that UN and Arab League special envoy for Syria Kofi Annan stepped down. "Slovenia appreciates and has supported Annan's efforts for a peaceful solution and progress in the process of political transition in Syria," the ministry said in a press release.
