Economist Says Private Investors Cannot Rescue Slovenian Banks

Ljubljana, 10 August - There is no realistic scenario in which Slovenian banks, especially the biggest one, NLB, could be shored up by private investors, economist Mojmir Mrak told an interview for the business daily Finance. "The only way to go is through public funds, either domestic or European," he stressed.
