Veronika Prize for Poetry Goes to Primož Čučnik

Celje, 28 August - Poet Primož Čučnik won the Veronika Prize for best poetry collection in the past two years for his book "Mikado". The Celje municipality presented the award at a ceremony on Tuesday. This year's Gold Coin Award for lifetime achievement and contribution to Slovenian poetry went to acclaimed poet Svetlana Makarovič.
