Proposal for Tighter Referendum Rules Filed in Parliament

Ljubljana, 12 September - A group of 50 MPs submitted on Wednesday a proposal to tighten referendum legislation with Speaker Gregor Virant estimating that the relevant constitutional changes could be passed by the end of year if a compromise was reached to get the coalition New Slovenia (NSi) on board.
