Ljubljana, 27 September - Assistant Police Commissioner Karol Turk will temporarily take over at the helm of the Slovenian police force on Monday pending the appointment of a new police commissioner after Janko Goršek stepped down from the post on 8 August. The government backed the decision at its weekly session.
