Minister Plays Down Fears of Public Sector Layoffs
Ljubljana, 4 October - The government is expected to adopt Thursday budget bills for 2012 and 2013 that will presumably involve far-reaching cuts in the public sector wage bill. It is expected that thousands could be laid off, but Justice and Public Administration Minister Senko Pličanič says this will not necessarily be the case.
