Upper Chamber Vetoes Sovereign Holding

Ljubljana, 4 October - The National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, vetoed on Thursday the Slovenia Sovereign Holding act, which was passed last week. While the National Assembly must now muster an absolute majority of 46 votes to override the veto, the act had been passed by 50 votes to six in the first place.
