Ageing of Population Puts Pressure on Pension System

Ljubljana, 9 October - The ageing of the population in Slovenia puts strong pressure on the pension system, the Statistics Office stressed on Tuesday. Per 100 pensioners, 154 people paid in contributions in 2010, while projections for 2060 show that only 86 people will be paying contributions per 100 pensioners.
