Proposed Sanctions against Budget Users Stir Controversy

Ljubljana, 18 October - The government has come under fire over provisions in budget implementation bills for 2013 and 2014 introducing EUR 10,000 fines for directors of budget beneficiaries if these fail to follow guidelines provided by the government or mayors in preparing financial plans.
