PM Hopes Anti-Reform Protests Can Be Averted

Novo Mesto, 23 October - Prime Minister Janez Janša hopes that the trade unions and the government will manage to find common ground on reforms before the protests announced by the unions for mid-November. He told a local TV station in Novo mesto on Tuesday that the rally announcement was probably a part of the unions' negotiating strategy.
