Lawmakers Set to Endorse Pension Reform in First Reading

Ljubljana, 13 November - MPs started debating on Tuesday the government-proposed pension system reform. The changes are necessary for Slovenia to stabilise its pension purse and improve the standard of pensioners, the coalition believes. The opposition meanwhile finds the reform not a long-term systemic solution. Most parties deem the proposal suitable for further debate.
