Officials Question Austria's Flood Response

Ljubljana, 15 November - Defence Minister Aleš Hojs expressed belief on Thursday that the Austrian authorities should have opened flood gates on the Drava river earlier than they did, as this could prevent the devastating floods downstream, which hit Slovenia on 5 November, flooding hundreds of homes in the Štajersko and Koroško regions.
