GZS Opposes Raising Excise Duties on Fuels, Sugary Drinks Tax

Ljubljana, 28 November - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) expressed opposition to the government proposal to introduce higher excise duties on fuels on Wednesday, arguing that this would pose an additional threat to Slovenian competitiveness. In addition, the GZS is opposed to the introduction of a tax on sugary drinks.
