Ministry: Palestinian Resolution Not Part of Broader Peace Efforts

Ljubljana, 30 November - Slovenia supports the right to self-determination, but the resolution upgrading the Palestinian status from observer entity to observer state at the UN General Assembly was not part of broader international peace efforts for the region, the Foreign Ministry wrote on Friday to explain Slovenia's abstention in Thursday's vote.
