Committee Debates Budget Acts Ahead of Tuesday's Plenary

Ljubljana, 1 December - The Finance and Monetary Policy Committee debated Saturday changes to a number of acts related to the 2013 and 2014 budgets, which will be voted on at an emergency session of parliament on Tuesday next week. While the government wants to push the deficit below 3% GDP, the opposition is worried about the consequences of austerity.
