Kučan Hopes Outgoing President Will Stay in Politics

Ljubljana, 2 December - Slovenia's first president, Milan Kučan, who endorsed incumbent Danilo Türk in the presidential election, commented on Borut Pahor's victory in Sunday's run-off by saying that he had obviously been more convincing in his vision for a presidency. Kučan also expressed hope that Türk would remain active in Slovenian politics.
