Unions Urge MPs to Reject 2013-2014 Budget Bills, Threaten with Referendum

Ljubljana, 3 December - Public sector trade unions urged MPs on Monday to vote against the government's 2013 and 2014 budget proposals, which reduce total salaries for the public sector by 10%. If the budget bills are passed, the unions "will be forced" to launch referendum procedures to hold budget implementation.
