National Assembly to Debate 2013 and 2014 Budgets

Ljubljana, 5 December - The National Assembly will debate budget proposals for 2013 and 2014 on Wednesday. While the government insists that deficit must be below 3% of GDP, the opposition is worried that excessive saving would put brakes on Slovenia's weakened economy. The proposals see Slovenia's deficit at 2.8% of GDP in 2013 and 2.5% in 2014.
