Universities Protests Against Further Cuts in Higher Education
Ljubljana, 6 December - Thousands of students and employees in higher education rallied in front of the parliament on Thursday to protest against the planned changes to the law on higher education and proposed cuts in higher education as MPs convened to pass the 2013 and 2014 budgets. MPs passed an amendment returning EUR 16m to higher education just after the protest.
