Lipizzaner Deaths Probably Caused by Natural Alkaloid

Ljubljana, 10 December - The most probable cause of the death of two Lipizzaner horses at the Lipica stud farm in October was the poisonous substance found in some meadow plants in the region of Kras which they ingested with their fodder, an analysis has found. The findings so far indicate the poisoning was not intentional.
