Idrija Mercury Mine to Become UNESCO Heritage Site
Ljubljana, 12 December - Idrija's mercury mine will be officially entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List along with the mine in Spain's Almaden on Wednesday. The listing will be marked with a ceremony in Idrija, which is to be attended by senior officials from both Slovenia and Spain.
