ZZZS Assembly Backs Austerity Health Budget, Minister Opposed

Ljubljana, 11 December - The assembly of Slovenia's public health insurance endorsed a draft financial plan for next year which foresees a 6% cut in expenditure for health services. The plan still needs a go-ahead from the government, but Health Minister Tomaž Gantar does not support the proposal arguing the system could not bear such cuts.
