Čander: State Must Invest in Culture in Eastern Slovenia

Maribor, 12 December - There is no logical reason why 10 to 15 million euros would not be invested in the development of culture in eastern Slovenia each year, says Mitja Čander, the programming head of Maribor's stint as the 2012 European Capital of Culture. "Saving is needed, but it would be very sad if new stories were not launched," he believes.
