Minister Expects Framework Accord on Banks Supervision

Brussels, 12 December - Finance Minister Janez Šušteršič expects a framework agreement among EU finance ministers on a single supervisory mechanism for European banks in Brussels on Wednesday, a day before an EU summit on the topic. If no agreement is reached before the summit, tomorrow's meeting will seem "unconvincing", he believes.
