SDS Council Supports Proposed Referendum Legislation Changes

Ljubljana, 19 December - The council of the ruling Democrats (SDS) expressed on Wednesday support for constitutional changes concerning Slovenia's referendum legislation, which have been drafted by a parliamentary expert task force. It proposed that a law be rejected if most of those who turned out vote against it, given that their number exceeds 25% of eligible voters.
