Police Ask President to Mediate in Negotiations with Govt

Ljubljana, 31 December - A police trade union has asked new President Borut Pahor to act as mediator in negotiations with the government ahead of the strike announced for 23 January. Pahor told trade union boss Radivoj Uroševič on Monday that he could not interfere with the government's business but would do everything in his power to help.
