Thousands Greet New Year Outdoors
Ljubljana, 1 January - Thousands of people took part in traditional outdoor festivities in major Slovenian cities to usher in the New Year. The biggest party was in Ljubljana, where around 40,000 people turned out to enjoy live music and the traditional fireworks display from the Ljubljana Castle.
