SocDems Back Referendum Changes, Secure Constitutional Majority
Ljubljana, 4 January - Parliament Speaker Gregor Virant assessed on Friday after talks with heads of deputy groups that the support of the opposition SocDems had secured the constitutional parliamentary majority for changes to legislation on referenda. Key changes include the requirement that at least 25% of all eligible voters to vote no to defeat a law.
