President Officially Nominates Prosecutor for Ombudsman

Ljubljana, 10 January - President Borut Pahor nominated on Thursday Higher State Prosecutor Vlasta Nussdorfer for human rights ombudsman, the president's office said in a press release. The National Assembly now has 45 days to decide on her appointment. The human rights ombudsman must get an absolute two-thirds majority in parliament to be appointed.
