SBI TOP Ends Week in Red, Mercator Gains 5% on Takeover Speculations

Ljubljana, 12 January - The SBI TOP blue chip index ended this week in the red, dropping 1.78% to 659.47 points, as most blue chips lost ground. Mercator posted exceptional gains, after speculations suggesting that Croatian company Agrokor was mounting yet another attempt to take over Slovenia's biggest retailer.
