Unicredit Plans No Acquisitions in Slovenia, Expects GDP to Decline 1.3%

Vienna, 15 January - Unicredit Bank Slovenia will continue to pursue organic growth and has no plans for acquisitions nor will it take part in the planned privatisation of the Slovenian banking system, head of Unicredit's central and eastern European division Gianni Franco Papa told the STA on Tuesday. The bank expects Slovenia's GDP to shrink by 1.3% this year.
