US Embassy Says Ambassador Consistent in Advocacy of Reforms

Ljubljana, 18 January - The US Embassy responded to an allegation of interference in internal affairs on Friday by explaining that Ambassador Joseph Mussomeli fields requests for media statements almost daily, often about domestic affairs, and that he had been consistent in his view about the need to push on with reforms in Slovenia.
