Share of Smokers Falling, Quarter of Slovenians Still Smoke

Ljubljana, 31 January - The share of smokers in Slovenia is declining, yet almost a quarter of the population still smokes, shows the latest survey of the Public Health Institute (IVZ), carried out in 2011 and 2012. Almost a fifth of all deaths above the age of 30 in Slovenia are attributed to tobacco-related reasons.
