MPs Launch Banking System Inquiry

Ljubljana, 1 February - The National Assembly launched on Friday an inquiry into the reasons for the faulty functioning of the Slovenian banking system, aiming to find out officials' responsibility for the situation. The coalition-proposed inquiry was opposed by the opposition Social Democrats (SD), who fear it will serve as playground for political games.
