DL Proposes Recall System, Minimum Standards for Office Holders

Ljubljana, 6 February - The opposition Citizens' List (DL) proposed on Wednesday changes to seven laws in a bid to "raise the standards of political culture" in the country. They include a recall of mayors and stricter conditions for office holders. "Lawmakers cannot be lawbreakers," DL head Gregor Virant said.
