Ljubljana Archbishop: Pope's Resignation Respectable Act

Ljubljana, 11 February - Ljubljana Archbishop Anton Stres said the pope's decision deserved "all the respect and admiration" in response to Monday's unexpected announcement by Pope Benedict XVI that he was resigning due to old age and poor health. The act "reveals the great responsibility with which he has always led and served the Church", Stres noted.
