Central Bank Governor Not Surprised by S&P Downgrade

Ljubljana, 14 February - Central bank governor Marko Kranjec said on Thursday that he was not surprised with this week's downgrade of Slovenia's sovereign credit rating by one notch to A- from A by ratings agency Standard & Poor's (S&P). He believes that the move was spurred by political uncertainty in the country.
