EU Members Have to Invest More in Defence, Minister Says
Brussels, 22 February - Europe must find more money for defence and balance out the US contribution to NATO, Defence Minister Aleš Hojs said after a NATO ministerial in Brussels on Friday. Slovenia cannot be proud of the funds it provides for defence, he said, adding that the country plans to increase its NATO contribution from 1.1% of GDP to 1.65% only by 2023.
