Slovenian PEN Ousts Janša as Member Over Statements
Ljubljana, 27 March - The Slovenian PEN Centre has decided to oust former Prime Minister Janez Janša from the organisation for what it said was his failure to show respect for the freedom of speech in many of his recent statements. Janša was welcomed to the organisation in 1988 as a dissident author.
