Analysts Expected GDP Drop, Believe Recession Will Continue
Ljubljana, 28 February - Economists Jože P. Damijan and Rasto Ovin described the 3% drop in Slovenia' GDP in the last quarter of 2012 as expected on Thursday. While Damijan anticipated an even bigger annual contraction than 2.3%, the pair attributed the negative trend to the crisis at home as well as abroad. They do not expect the recession to end this year.
